sadafies said: EMILY. my memeloving friend. i was looking at ur figure drawing stuff u posted 5ever ago (its so good!) bc i was gonna go to this figure drawing session soon and i just wanted 2 look but the thing im going to is uninstructed. :( im worried im not gonna know what to do?? do you have any Cool Level 78 Tips 4 me? THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
SADAF idk if you want like art tips or like.. what happens in general at the session??
step 1: if u can, bring at least one light color & one darker color pencil/crayon/etc so u can go over stuff
for shorter timed drawings (and in general i think) u should start out by getting the line of action, so like, draw one continuous line from their head—>pelvis—>toe to get the flow like
and then kinda go from there if youre doing gesture drawings
for longer timed stuff, after you do ^that, and u draw the general figure we were told to map out the furthermost top/bottom/left/right edges
b/c this way its easier to tell later if theyre not far enough/too far
from there its mostly referencing different body parts to each other and adjusting/filling in your initial doodle
how to draw a sheep: draw a cloud, legs, a circle for the head and there you have it
someone draw a sheep using these instructions
this rlly helped i think this is the best sheep i have EVER drawn!!!
its very good !!
so i saw this photo of a harpy eagleand i thought “woah what a noble beast” so i searched for more photos and i just
even the babiesi mean
this goes with almost all predator birds
like look at this bearded vulture
such a majestic creature
but then it’s like
or this scretary bird like woah so beautiful
even good old bald eagle
like wow so regal
it just looks confused
LIFE LESSON: DON’T LOOK AT MAJESTIC BIRDS STRAIGHT ON.
